RUKA | A DAY WITH A LOVELY PLANET

IMG_3785 IMG_3833 IMG_3860 IMG_3868 IMG_3825

ENG: Last month I spent an afternoon in Oulanka national park with Hayley and Enrico from A Lovely Planet. Their blog has been one of my favourite travel blogs for quite a while now, so it was so cool to spend some time with them and hear about their travels and plans.

I've always been better at writing than talking, so at first I was a bit nervous and shy. But I got over it and I'm super happy that I did, because it's always interesting what you can learn just by talking to other people, especially to new ones.

It's always nice to see people's reactions to the pure nature and the quietness in the woods. I've lived in these areas my whole life and I take it for granted. But every time when I come back from bigger cities I feel like a tourist, who's experiencing the quietness for the first time ever.

Thanks Hayley and Enrico, hope to see you again somewhere!

  10. Beautiful photos! I just put Oulanka national park on Google maps to have a better idea of where it is, and wow, it's pretty remote! That probably makes it even more incredible to visit.
